Skincare Tips

1

Choose

Choose skincare products and make-up with great care. Check ingredients, choosing products that are fragrance-free, have no artificial colors, or are certified organic or gluten-free.

2

Perform

Always perform a skin test when using a new product or treatment. If you see or feel any redness, tenderness or tingling that is not expected, discontinue use immediately.

3

Diet

Make sure your diet is in check. Many food intolerances show up in your skin. Many conditions including rosacea and eczema can be attributed to food sensitivities. Try an elimination diet to pinpoint possible food triggers.

4

Cleanser

Try cleansing with an oil-based cleanser, or simply coconut oil or olive oil. Using an oil-cleansing method is generally much more gentle than regular facial soaps. Of course, refer back to tip 2 for a skin test first.
